From August 28 through September 2, Moscow Fashion Week Market will open its doors at the Parking Gallery of Zaryadye Park, featuring collections from more than 65 designers from Moscow and cities across Russia, including participants from the 'Made in Moscow' project.
Moscow Fashion Week Market is a platform where visitors can explore the cultural diversity reflected in collections by designers from dozens of Russian cities – from Vladivostok in the Far East to Arkhangelsk in the north – and purchase unique items. Following the selection by the Advisory Board, over 65 brands have been invited to participate, with over 40 based in Moscow. This format benefits both the designers and attendees: brands can reach a wider audience and increase sales, while visitors can shop exclusive clothing, footwear, and accessories, and engage directly with creators from around 20 Russian cities. Entry is free via pre-registration on the event’s
website. The market will be open from August 28 to September 1 at the Parking Gallery of Zaryadye Park, from 12:30 PM to 9:30 PM, and on September 2 from 12:30 PM to 9:00 PM.
Represented cities include Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, Simferopol, Donetsk, Vladivostok, Kazan, Ulan-Ude, and others, showcasing the breadth of Russia’s design talent.
"The market format is a rare chance not only to present a brand to a broad audience but to get immediate feedback. This direct interaction is priceless – it allows us to analyze responses and interact with the audience in real time. Such a platform is instrumental for growing sales, expanding clientele, and building lasting brand loyalty," said Antonio Shin, designer and founder of the Shin brand.
"For emerging brands, participating in Moscow Fashion Week Market is a great opportunity to make a statement, connect with potential customers and form industry links. As a designer, I deeply value live communication with visitors – both loyal fans and first-time discoverers. It gives us the chance to share our brand’s philosophy and production details in a way that online marketplaces or mass retailers simply cannot replicate. It’s inspiring to see local brands gaining such momentum, which motivates further contributions to the development of contemporary Russian fashion and fosters a growing nationwide interest in local design," said Yulia Privalova, designer behind Unke.
The Market also celebrates local cultural heritage. Baikal Murano presents jewelry inspired by Irkutsk’s natural landscapes, Abzaeva’s collections explore Buryat cultural codes, and Front draws inspiration from historic Tatar costumes. Moscow’s Satro combines traditional felting techniques with innovative shaping methods. Visitors can also discover Granny’s – a brand that offers handcrafted clothing made with love by women over 60, who are members of the social project Russian Grannies.
Other highlights include Soroka On Course, which reinterprets costume history by blending 21st-century minimalism with the lavishness of 18th-century fashion, and Gapanovich, whose designs dissect Northern and post-Soviet cultural codes through contemporary craftsmanship and material memory. Both favourite best sellers and new collections will be on display.
Moscow residents and tourists are invited to shop an array of clothing, footwear, and accessories in a variety of styles by registering in advance on the event’s
website.
The Market is part of Moscow Fashion Week, which will also feature runway shows by Russian and international designers, expert talks, the World Fashion Shorts film festival, and an exclusive showroom – all hosted at Zaryadye Park and other prominent venues across Moscow.
