Moscow Fashion Week has wrapped up, drawing an impressive crowd of 65,000 attendees during its six-day run from October 4 to 9 at the Central Exhibition Hall ‘Manege’. About 200 designers from 41 cities across Russia, alongside brands from seven other countries including China, the United Arab Emirates, Costa Rica, and India showcased their collections.

On the sixth day of Moscow Fashion Week, brands from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Nalchik, Yekaterinburg, and Yakutsk showcased their latest collections. An open Market continued to welcome guests, featuring clothing, and accessories from local brands.

The fourth day of Moscow Fashion Week showcased a diverse array of shows not only from the capital but also from regional brands hailing from Cheboksary, Yakutsk, Tver, Uchkeken, Omsk, Kirov, and Elista. Applications for the third edition of World Fashion Shorts are now open. The fashion short film festival will take place in autumn as part of Moscow Fashion Week. Designers, brand representatives, directors, curators, and film festival representatives from around the globe can submit their applications on the official website wfs.fashionsummit.org until August 15th. All submissions will be reviewed by the expert council.

The Russian modest fashion brand MEASURE, a regular participant of Moscow Fashion Week, will take part in Lakmé Fashion Week X FDCI in India.

For the first time, this large-scale industry event gathered representatives from half of Russia's regions, as well as attendees from Brazil, China, Indonesia, Costa Rica, and other countries.

The number of applications for Moscow Fashion Week has significantly increased, with over a thousand applications from designers across 72 regions in Russia, with Medvezhyegorsk, Yoshkar-Ola, Elista, and Yalta intending to take part for the first time, said Natalya Sergunina, the Deputy Mayor of Moscow.

The second Moscow Fashion Week is set to be a spectacular international event, attracting top designers and journalists from around the world.

It is planned that over 100 Russian and international designers will participate in the event.
