It is planned that over 100 Russian and international designers will participate in the event.
The second Moscow Fashion Week is to take place from March 1 to 8, 2024. The main venues will be the Central Exhibition Hall Manege and Pavilion No. 75 at VDNH - one of the main venues of the International RUSSIA EXPO. This was announced by Natalia Sergunina, Deputy Mayor of Moscow.
"It is planned that over 100 Russian and international designers will take part in Moscow Fashion Week. The invitations will be extended to brands from China, India, Brazil, the UAE, and other countries under bilateral agreements signed at the BRICS+ Fashion Summit," said Natalia Sergunina.
VDNH is to host Fashion shows open for residents and guests of the city.
The Central Exhibition Hall Manege, in turn, will serve as a platform for negotiations and business deals. There would be invitation-only Fashion shows for industry professionals, a B2B showroom for buyers, and a market where everyone can purchase clothing and accessories from local brands.
In addition, the World Fashion Shorts, a festival of fashion short films, will take place as part of Moscow Fashion Week. The program will end with a gala show.
Applications for participation in Moscow Fashion Week are already open and can be submitted until January 19, 2024. An Advisory Board will determine the list of designers and brands that will have the opportunity to present their collections to a wide audience. The conditions and application form are available on the official website.
The event is organized by Fashion Fund with the support of the Moscow Government.
