Moscow Fashion Week Receives 1,047 Applications, Says Deputy Mayor Natalia Sergunina

A total of 1,047 applications were submitted for the upcoming Moscow Fashion Week. Nearly half of them (494) represent designers whose collections have not been featured in previous seasons, according to Natalia Sergunina, Deputy Mayor of Moscow.
“The new season has drawn industry representatives from 63 regions of Russia. The largest number of applications came from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, Nizhny Novgorod, and Krasnoyarsk,” noted Natalia Sergunina.
For the first time, designers from cities including Alushta, Veliky Ustyug, Iskitim, and Abakan have submitted applications.
The final list of participants will be determined by the Advisory Board, which includes editors-in-chief of leading fashion publications, stylists, buyers, and executives from major retail platforms.
The event will feature collections from both Russian and international brands. The program will also include lectures by industry experts, the World Fashion Shorts film festival, and a dedicated Pop-Up Shop where visitors can purchase clothing, footwear, and accessories.
Moscow Fashion Week will take place at the ‘Manege’ from September 26 to October 1.
