Moscow Fashion Week Debut Designer to Receive Brand Development Grant

Grant funds can be invested in producing a collection, marketing, expanding the brand, and launching new projects.

With the support of its partners, the Fashion Fund has established a new award for designers and brands that are shaping the local fashion industry. The winner will receive a targeted grant of 1 million rubles. The award is open to all designers making their runway debut at Moscow Fashion Week, from September 26 to October 1.

To apply, participants must submit a fashion show application on the official website, moscowfashion.ru, and pass the selection process by the Advisory Board. The application deadline has been extended to July 19.

The winner will be selected by the award partners and the Fashion Fund. The results will be announced by October 12 following the participation in Moscow Fashion Week. The grant money can be invested into collection production, team development, workshop expansion, marketing, brand scaling, or launching new initiatives.

Applications are evaluated on the originality and conceptual uniqueness of the collection, the integrity of the designer's vision, execution quality, and the brand's long-term growth potential.

Participation in Moscow Fashion Week is free of charge. Organizers provide comprehensive technical and production support for every runway show—including venue access, staging equipment, show direction, lighting, sound, and overall logistics. Participating designers are responsible only for casting and model fees.

Each season, Moscow Fashion Week serves as a powerful launchpad for emerging talent. Many designers who made their debut on the Moscow runway are now developing their own brands, expanding internationally, and collaborating with major industry partners and buyers.
