Moscow Fashion Week, which will take place from March 14 to 19 at the Central Exhibition Hall 'Manege', is a key industry event helping buyers and other representatives of retail platforms identify promising projects for future collaboration. Accreditation for media representatives, influencers, photographers, videographers, stylists, and buyers is now open on the official website of Moscow Fashion Week.

Moscow Fashion Week serves as a platform where Russian designers find business partners and open up new avenues for distributing their collections. Each season, hundreds of retail representatives attend Moscow Fashion Week. For them, it is an opportunity to discover promising brands from across the country in one venue — this season alone, applications to participate in Moscow Fashion Week were submitted from 67 regions of Russia.

Industry experts describe Moscow Fashion Week as a key event for Russian retail.

“Moscow Fashion Week shapes the image of Russian fashion retail. Here, you can explore the new collections of all the brands that interest you in one place, meet representatives of various communities, and form your own analysis of what to expect for the upcoming season,” said Nikolai Konstantinov, CEO of the Trend Island department store and founder of the Telegraph department stores.

“Moscow Fashion Week is an event that shapes the image of contemporary Russian fashion and is perfectly suited for buyers seeking to collaborate with domestic brands. Here, you can see new collections by iconic designers, as well as discover many emerging names,” said Konstantin Andrikopoulos, Development Director of the Bosco Group of Companies.

“Moscow Fashion Week is a launching platform for emerging designers and a source of inspiration for brands. Here, you can spot trends at their earliest stages and develop them into capsules for retail stores,” said Yuliia Vakhovskaia, Head of Offline Department at Poison Drop.

Experts also note that participation in Moscow Fashion Week impacts brand recognition within the professional community.

Alexey Aksenov, co-founder and curator of LCLS.RU, in turn emphasized that “Moscow Fashion Week brings together a broad selection of fashion designers from various cities across Russia — from established fashion brands to small emerging local labels. For retailers, the event provides an opportunity to discover new names, see the products in person, and speak directly with the designers. Participants in Moscow Fashion Week undoubtedly gain greater visibility within the fashion business, which facilitates their entry into specialized retail platforms and department stores.”

The Moscow Fashion Week program includes fashion shows by Russian and international designers, a pop-up shop and showroom, expert lectures, and the World Fashion Shorts film festival. The show schedule, as well as registration for the pop-up shop and lectures, will be available closer to the event dates on the official website of the event.
