MEASURE will showcase its collection in India on March 16. The brand is participating in Lakmé Fashion Week X FDCI as part of a bilateral agreement between Moscow Fashion Week and the Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI), established at the BRICS+ Fashion Summit in early December 2023.
MEASURE, a brand from Dagestan, is rooted in finding harmony between the natural and the artificial, the past and the present, and the material and the spiritual. This Russian brand reinterprets traditional Muslim sartorial codes with subtle layering and rich textures, which are central to the design ethos of this emerging Dagestani label.
The MEASURE collection will include maxi dresses and skirts, wide trousers, long-sleeve tops, blouses, jackets, capes, and a range of coats and fur coats, all designed in the finest traditions of modest fashion.
As a sustainable brand, MEASURE aims to minimize waste in its production process. It follows principles of efficient manufacturing, creating products on demand and frequently incorporating vintage fabrics.
In the Lakmé Fashion Week X FDCI schedule, MEASURE is featured alongside the Indian brand Geisha Designs, which recently participated in Moscow Fashion Week. Collections from both MEASURE and Geisha Designs can be viewed on the official Moscow Fashion Week website at moscowfashion.ru.
The event is organized by the Fashion Fund with the support of the Moscow Government.
