Moscow Fashion Week will feature fashion shows by Russian and international designers, expert lectures, and the World Fashion Shorts film festival.

The upcoming Moscow Fashion Week is set to take place from September 26 to October 1, at the Central Exhibition Hall 'Manege'. Applications are now open and will remain accepted until July 12 on the official website, as announced by Natalia Sergunina, Deputy Mayor of Moscow.

“Previous seasons of the project have brought together around a thousand Russian and international designers. For example, following the recent Moscow Fashion Week, industry representatives signed over 70 partnership agreements, with the total value of discussed deals exceeding 400 million rubles,” said Natalia Sergunina.

The event will feature fashion shows showcasing collections from local and international brands, lectures by leading experts, and the World Fashion Shorts film festival. In addition, visitors will have the opportunity to purchase clothing, footwear, and accessories at the Pop-Up Shop.

Many designers note that participating in the project has helped them increase the visibility of their collections and boost sales. Among them is Yulia Privalova, co-founder of a women’s clothing brand based in Tver.

“Thanks to Moscow Fashion Week, we have improved all our key performance indicators in just one year. Sales have doubled, production capacity has increased by 110%, and revenue grows by 50% after each season. We have opened a boutique in a major department store in the capital, established a presence in six regions across Russia and built long-term wholesale partnerships with buyers,” added Yulia Privalova

Oleg Levitskiy, a designer from Krasnodar, believes that a single fashion show at a large-scale event is the equivalent of around six months of regular promotional activities, including photo shoots, social media management and marketing. The company recorded a 70% increase in sales, quadrupled its social media audience, attracted new partners, and secured a profitable contract. Additionally, the brand has expanded its retail presence in Moscow, Krasnodar, Volgograd, Kursk, Voronezh, Ryazan and Vladivostok.

The BRICS+ Fashion Summit, an international forum, has been held alongside Moscow Fashion Week since 2023. It has already brought together hundreds of Russian and international designers, heads of leading companies, executives, industry association experts, and journalists from 109 countries. Last year, over 260 professionals from 65 countries attended the event.
